About Turkmenistan

Hey there our guests! Have you ever heard of Turkmenistan as the state amazing for the tour? It's this super interesting country tucked away in Central Asia. Think vast deserts, ancient cities from the Silk Road era, and a capital city, Ashgabat, that's all decked out in shiny white marble.

What makes Turkmenistan really special for the tourists is its mix of old and new - you've got stunning natural gas reserves alongside a culture that's been shaped by nomadic traditions and interactions with other civilizations.

One thing you absolutely have to see while traveling is the Darvaza Gas Crater, nicknamed the "Door to Hell" because it's been burning for ages!  Then there's Merv, an ancient city that was once a major hub on the Silk Road and is now a UNESCO World Heritage Site. And don't forget about Ashgabat with its impressive architecture and Kunya-Urgench, another UNESCO site full of historic tombs and monuments. Nature lovers will be blown away by Yangykala Canyon with its colorful rock formations.  Since much of the country is traveled along the Karakum Desert, it feels like a truly remote adventure, perfect for those who want to discover someplace off the usual passed path.
