Day 1: Tashkent
Today you will arrive to Tashkent international airport. You will be met by the driver with signboard at meeting area. Then you will departure to the city. This day is devoted to a sightseeing tour. You will start the tour with exploring the main square of the country Independence square. It is one of the most important sites of the country with incredible history. Then you will direct to the local Broadway where you can walk, explore Amir Timur square and buy souvenirs. Further the tour will show you the divine Tashkent metro. This is one of the most gorgeous subways in the world. The metro began to work in 1977. Then you will experience the old part of the city and visit Chorsu Bazaar, Kukaldash Madrasah and Hast Imam which includes several madrasahs, mosques and mausoleum. There you can find the prominent landmark Othman Quran. You are going to explore the world’s oldest Quran copy found in the 8th century. This nght will be in the hotel.
Day 2: Tashkent – Chimgan – Tashkent
After breakfast you will transfer to fascinating Chimgan Mountains. After arrival you will go to the top by chair lift where you will admire Beldersay peak. The one way will take about 30 min. You will have free time where you can feel the harmony with nature, observe the scenic landscapes. Along the way you will break at Charvak lakeside beach where you can try water activities (as per season). Charvak is an artificial reservoir that is visited not only by local residents but also by tourists from the CIS countries. This is one of the favorite places to stay near Tashkent. You will end the tour with transferring back to Tashkent. This night will be spent in the hotel.
Day 3: Tashkent – Samarkand (Morning train)
In the morning after delicious breakfast you will drive to railway station of Tashkent for your train to Samarkand. Samarkand is a beautiful city in Uzbekistan and the second largest. The city has a 2,500-year history and is located in the valley of the Zerafshan river. The city is the same age as Babylon and Rome. You will have today amazing sightseeing tour where you will visit amazing landmarks as Registan square, Shakhi-Zindeh, Mausoleum Guri Emir and Bibi Khanum Mosque. Registan charms with its three madrasas that were erected in the 15th and 17th centuries, no one can resist the splendor of the square. Then you will explore the amazing Shakhi-Zindeh, where are located large collection of mausoleums found in the 11th-15th centuries (UNESCO World Heritage Site). You will also be inspired by the magnificent beauty of Bibi Khanum Mosque that was erected after successful arrival from India of Tamerlane. Night you will spend in the hotel.
Day 4: Samarkand – Bukhara (350km, 5 hours drive)
You are going to travel today to Bukhara. Along the way you will stop over Gijduvan villag. Today you will enjoy the private pottery workshop of Gijduvan ceramics. All the secrets and methods of making ceramics have been passed down from generation to generation. It has its own school of pottery. The Narzullaev family has been engaged in this unique art form for the sixth generation. All the ceramics are made in colorful colors blue and green. You will continue tour with transferring to Bukhara. During the tour you will break at memorial complex of Al Bukhary. Al Bukhary was a famous Islamic scholar, who wrote the hadith collection known as Sahih al-Bukhari, observed by Sunni Muslims as one of the most genuine Hadith collections. After arrival you will have a rest. Night is in the hotel.
Day 5: Bukhara
This day is dedicated to a city tour of Bukhara. You are going to explore ancient citadel in Bukhara. This site was found in the 4th century and called Citadel Ark. This site was the place of ruling for several dynasties of Bukhara Empire. Then the tour continues with visiting the exquisite masterpiece of art of architecture of 9th -10th century Samanids mausoleum. You will also explore Chashma Ayub that means as Job's well and Bolo Hauz mosque. This is a vivid example of the architectural traditions of the East. The Bolo Hauz reservoir was part of Registan, the Central square of Bukhara. You will visit the shopping domes and walk. Also you will explore one of the popular madrasahs of Bukhara as Nodir Divan Begi. The madrasah was named after the powerful vizier of Bukhara. It is a part of Lyabi House Ensemble. This day you will end with visiting Poi Kalon complex. This is very popular place of Bukhara with famous architectural art where located three structures built in the 12th − 16th centuries. They are Kalon minaret, Kalon mosque and Mir Arab Madrasah. The night is in the hotel.
Day 6: Bukhara – Tashkent (Evening train or flight)
This day you will also explore the Bukhara. You are going to explore Bahauddin Naqshbandi complex that is located close to Bukhara. This complex was erected in honor of the famous Sufi Leader and Philosopher. A lot of Muslims admire this pilgrimage places of Islamic world. Sheikh Bakhauddin Nakshbandi was one of the spiritual masters of Amir Timur. There are situated mosques of Kushbegi and Muzafarohana, courtyard with pool, madrasah, and burial vault of Bukhara rulers and Dakhma upon the tomb of Saint Bakhauddin Nakshbandi. Further you will continue the tour with exploring the countryside residence of Bukhara Emirs − Sitorai Mohi Hosa complex. You will be impressed by the unique architectural styles. This residence was named after the young wife of Emir who died “Star − like and moon − like Palace”. You will also travel to Sumiton village. You are going to explore the incredible Chor Bakr memorial complex. This is the town of dead and shows that people one the earth are the same. The complex was formed in the period of the Samanids rule until the 16th century. After excellent excursion you will transfer to Tashkent by flight (or train transfer). You will spedn the night in the cozy hotel.
Day 7: Tashkent – Departure
Breakfast is at the hotel. Transfer to the Airport in the morning.
