Day 1: Dushabe – Hissor – Dushanbe
You will meet our driver at the Dushanbe International Airport. We will drive to the Iskanderkul Lake. The name of the mountain Lake Iskanderkul comes from the name of Alexander the great, who in Tajikistan and the countries of Central Asia, Iran and Afghanistan (in the East) is called Iskandari Zulkarnain (Iskander two-horned). The word "Kul" (from the Tajik language – kÓŻl) means "lake", so the name "Iskandarkul " or" Iskanderkul " comes from these two separate words Ikandar+Kul. The validity of this definition is historical; when Alexander the great, having conquered a community in Central Asia, he passed through this mountain lake and stayed there for a time, then from Central Asia to India. The lake is located at an altitude of 2195 meters above sea level, in the spurs of the Kuhiston mountain junction, between the Western ends of the Hissar and Zerafshan ranges. The total area of the water surface of the lake is 3.4 km2, the depth of the lake reaches 72 meters. In addition we will visit monuments of “Madrasa I Kuhna” (new school of 16th-17th centuries), mosque; the mausoleum of “Mahdumi Azam” (16th century) and return to Dushanbe where you will have a lunch and spend the night is in a hotel.

Day 2: Dushanbe – Ramit – Dushanbe
Today you will be impressed by gorgeous of  the state natural reserve "Ramit" organized by the Government of the Tajik SSR in 1959. 45 km North-East of Dushanbe, the Ramit gorge originates, with numerous recreation areas in its lower part, hot springs, protected forests and beautiful mountain rivers. The reserve is famous for its forests. The mountain slopes are covered with birch, poplar, willow, maple, jigdo (Loh), mulberry. There are more than 100 species of birds in the reserve. Climbing the steep slopes to the upper belt of mountains, you can see among the rocks one of the most remarkable birds of the gorge-the bearded eagle with a characteristic wedge-shaped tail and resembling a tuft of feathers or bristles under the beak. Spreading its huge wings, it soars at a low altitude, as if skirting the contours of mountain peaks and looking for prey. The Ramit gorge is still a white spot on the tourist map of Tajikistan, but its potential is very rich and interesting, especially for organizing mountain Hiking. The government of Tajikistan has declared the gorge a recreation and tourism area for the development of travel in these fertile and picturesque places.
