Day 1: Dushanbe – Hissor – Dushanbe
This day you will arrive to Tajikistan and transfer to the capital Dushanbe. During the tour you will explore the amazing sites of the city such as Rudake Park, National library, White House, National state seal, and House of parliament. You will walk in National Park where you will explore Ministry of Inner Affairs. Along the way you will observe the biggest National Flag in the world – 165 m high pole, 30 m wide, 60 m long. After that you will transfer to Hissor fortress dated back VII–XVII centuries. Now it is an open-air Museum with an area of 86 hectares, located on the site of an ancient settlement. The Tajik authorities intend to add it to the UNESCO cultural heritage list. This is one of the oldest architectural monuments in Tajikistan. There was located a pool and a garden, and in front of the fortress there was a busy market square with caravanserais and shops. In addition to the entrance gate with two impressive towers, little has been preserved from the fortress. There are also situated interesting attractions such as: the recently renovated monuments of “Madrasa I Kuhna” dated back 16th-17th centuries, mosque; the mausoleum of “Mahdumi Azam” of 16th century. After that you will transfer back to the capital Dushanbe. This night will be in the hotel.
Day 2: Dushanbe – Norak – Kalai Khum
This day you will drive to Kalai Khum village. Along the way you will admire the charm of the Norak water reservoir. People call it as Tajik Sea. Today you will transfer along the amazing Shuraba pass that has the height of 2 267 m and then you will transfer along Afghanistan border. You will be surprised by the beauty and uniqueness of this place and learn that it is already the territory of the Pamir Mountains. These unique views for many centuries inspired and amazed such famous personalities as: Marco Polo, Hsuan Tsang, Mirza Muhammad Haidar. Today you have a chance to fascinate this amazing site. This day you will travel along natural border – Pyanj River. While traveling in the Pamirs, travelers enjoy the views of the blue and white mountains. You will rest the night in the home stay where you will observe the way of life of local people.
Day 3: Kalai Khum – Khorog
After hearty breakfast you will travel to Khorog. You will get acquainted with the smallest city in the world. This city fascinates with the views and rocky mountains surrounded the city from all sides. The city erected in confluence of the 3 rivers: the Shokhdara River and Ghund River flow into Pyanj River. During the tour you will get acquainted with locals and explore their way of life. You will have a chance to communicate with them and discover the traditions and customs. It is important to note that this people differ from Tajiks by their language, appearance. Pamir people are distinguished by their appearance, blonde, light skin and blue eyes. Then you will get to know that Pamir Mountains highest mountains in the world that have population after the Himalayas in Tibet. Living in a remote area in the mountains distinguishes their traditions from the Tajiks. You will rest the night in guest house.
Day 4: Khorog – Langar
This day you will have a fascinating adventure to Langar village. The Pamir Mountains are a unique nature with high mountains and unique lakes and rivers, enchanting valleys and dry deserts. Because the Pamir Mountains are high, people have called them the "Roof of the world" for many years. Today we will look at the reasons. The height of Pamir Mountains is from 3,500 to 4,200 meters above sea level. These are the mountains where the ethno cultural characteristics of the Pamirs could be preserved. People developed separately from each other because of the high mountains and lived separately. The language and dialect are different. Along the way you will have breaks to explore the amazing sites and visit interesting places. During the tour you will explore aBuddhist complex of 4-7 centuries near village of Vrang. After arrival to Langar you will explore Abreshim Kala (Silk Fortress). This night will be in the home stay.
Day 5: Langar – Yashil Kul Lake – Bulunkul Lake – Murgab
Thi day you will have a tour to the charming lakes of Pamir’s - Yashil Kul and Bulunkul (Blue lakes). The lakes are located at the altitude of 3 700 meters above sea level in the Murghab region. The interesting fact that Bulunkul lake has amazing purple and blue under the sun. The lake is rich with many fish species. There you will also have a chance to observe yaks, which are very useful to people thanks to meat, wool and milk. Yaks have the characteristics of sheep and cows, they are very hardy and live at a height in the mountains. Then you will travel along the amazing Khargush pass on altitude of 4 344 m. This night is in the guesthouse.
Day 6: Murgab – Khorog
Today you will transfer back to Khorog through Pamir Highway well known as M41 Pamir Tract. Pamir Tract is famous because it is the second highest road after Tibet’s highway. Today you will have a chance to transfer at the altitude more than 4 000 meters above sea level. In this day you will drive along Koitezak pass with elevation of 4 271 m. Such a high road has given us a unique flora and fauna, which is home to such rare species of animals as wild mammals, here you can find , tiger-cat, grizzly bear, badger, stoat, fox, grey and red wolves. Pamir is home to a unique animal species, the Marco Polo sheep, which is much larger in size than the common sheep. Also in such remote areas of the Pamir lives a Snow leopard listed in the red book. You will rest the night in the guest house.
Day 7: Khorog – Kalai Khum
Today you will transfer to Kalai Khum. You will drive the same road that you had before. There are the high rock mountains and only one road was possible to be built. You will have a chance to explore the amazing nature and discover the history, culture and ethnography of mountain residents. You will fascinate the history of humanity developed as in the story of creation. Along the way you will meet the local residents and observe their way of life. You will have breaks on the villages. You will see them on the both sides of the river in narrow mountain valleys. You will have a chance to observe on the other side of the river Afghan stony villages and gardens. The overnight is in the hotel.
Day 8: Kalai Khum – Khoburubot – Dushanbe
Today you will transfer to amazing capital of Tajikistan Dushanbe city. You will transfer through high Khoburubot Pass (3 252) known as Western Pamir Tract. Don’t miss a chance to admire the amazing river and gorgeous landscapes. You will also see stunning river valley and have a lot of photos of the picturesque mountain and rivers. You will meet today the local inhabitants and observe the small villages. Tajiks are very hardworking, kind and hospitable as all the inhabitants of Central Asia. They will be able to invite any guest and treat them to the best. They respect their folklore, songs, culture, customs and traditions and honor the older generation. Tours to Tajikistan are interesting for tourists who are interested in history and culture, color and exoticism. You will spend the night in the hotel.
Day 9: Dushanbe – Iskanderkul Lake
This day you will transfer to the highest mountain lake that is located in the heart of Fann Mountains – Iskanderkul Lake (2 255 m. a. s. l.). This is the perfect place for travelling located in Central Asia. Today you will transfer along the amazing Anzob pass that is at altitude of 3 372 m and you will fascinate the picturesque panorama views. You will have a chance to marvel the lake and stroll along it beaches. It will take about 40 minutes to explore the fascinating waterfall. Tajikistan is rich in water resources and ranks second among the CIS countries and first in Central Asia. Tajikistan has more than 1 000 rivers, 2 000 lakes and 8000 glaciers. You will spend the night in the guesthouse.
Day 10: Iskanderkul – Dushanbe
You are going to transfer today to capital Dushanbe via enchanting Anzob pass and tunnel of Isticlol. Today you will have fabulous photos of the wild nature of Tajikistan. You can also hike at the Fann Mountains. These mountains called before as "Kuhistan" - Mountainous Country from Farsi. There are located over 30 amazing lakes on the Fann Mountains. They different and has the different shapes and size. This is the popular place for relaxation. A lot of travelers from all over the world want to do trekking and climbing activities. There are you can observe the flora and fauna which is unique and rich. Today you will explore the gorgeous views and have a great time. Then you will continue tour to Dushanbe. Night will be in the hotel.
