Day 1: Nur-Sultan
Your driver will pick you up from the airport. Today you will have a sightseeing tour in a city. During the tour you will visit the Constitution Square, Museum of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan* with the Golden man, unique shopping center Khan Shatyr. Then you will take the elevator to the top of the Astana-Baiterek monument, where you can admire the magnificent panorama of the Kazakhstan capital from the special observation deck. After lunch you will cross Ishym river and get to the Kazakh Eli Square. There you will visit another unique project - the Palace of Peace and Reconciliation, and also see the extraordinary beauty of Khazret Sultan mosque. Important point of the excursion will be National Museum of History of Kazakhstan*, where you can look at the far-reaching plans of the development of Nur-Sultan together with its historical background.
Day 2: Nur-Sultan – Ethno village – Nur-Sultan
Guests will have a unique opportunity to explore the ancient culture of nomadic civilisation, as Ethno Auyl (which stands for Ethno Village), an unusual cultural complex, has opened in the capital’s suburbs. Organisers intend for the space to acquaint visitors with the rich history, art, traditions, rituals and national cuisine of the Kazakh people and experience how nomads went about their day. You can enjoy a rich programme of events – a plethora of festivals of Kazakh music and theatrical art, master classes by artisans and equestrian sports. Traditional games, such as audaryspak, kokpar, baiga and kyzkuu, will be demonstrated. Tourists can not only watch the presentations, but also be involved in contests. The 2,000-square metre Ethno Village has several sectors where visitors can explore traditional hunting with birds and hounds or immerse themselves in Kazakh applied art during workshops where they can take part in creating their very own masterpieces. Once the expo ends, Ethno Village will continue its work as a seasonal national and cultural centre. The brightest national events will take place annually and organisers are convinced the spot will turn into the city’s favourite among locals and guests. The night is in a hotel.
Day 3: Nur-Sultan – Almaty
You will have a morning flight to Almaty. The southern capital of Kazakhstan is full of interesting sights. The exploration of the city will start from the Green Bazaar. Many local people prefer to shop here. The main advantage of the bazaars is that you can bargain with the seller to reduce the price. The next popular location is one of the oldest Almaty parks – Panfilov Park. Here you will see the famous Memorial of Glory and Eternal Flame and the amazing architecture of Zenkov Cathedral. After the city tour we will head to Medeo Gorge. It is famous for the one of the best mountain skating rink in the world and the dam. Then the tour will continue to the Kok-Tobe hill, where you will see the highest (above sea level) TV tower in the. In the way you will have a chance to take pictures of magical landscape. We will also ride from the hill to the Almaty by the cableway. The overnight will be organized in the hotel.
Day 4: Almaty – Charyn – Almaty
You will definitely be impressed by the magnificence of that place. It is considered to be a Kazakh version of the Grand Canyon of Colorado River in North America. You will see 300m high hills and the fabulous “Valley of Castles”. It is about 2 km long and 80 m wide. This wonderful place was created by natural forces: wind, rain and sun. It makes it so unique, charming and unforgettable! In the evening we will return to Almaty. The guests will spend the night in a hotel.
